Good Day Everyone!
Today is Dave's Birthday and we started by going to the craft market. Dave was pleased with his purchase of a homemade pillow with an elephant print on it. :) I also found some nice goodies to bring home. We had lots of errands to run, so Godfrey ran us around and we all had a nice lunch.
Tomorrow, after breakfast we are going to go with Florence to check out some other guesthouses in the area. She is really interested in continuing to cook for Americans that come to visit on a mission trip or an adoption, so she would like us to give her some feedback on what we think of some other places. Since it looks like we will have a second trip, this will also be nice for us to see where we might want to stay.
Tomorrow night, we are going to have a birthday dinner here at the house with many of the Lule family. We also invited a new friend, Andrea, to come over and join us. She was supposed to fly out today with her son, but there has been a delay in her final court documents and she is still here. Please pray for Andrea that she will soon receive what she needs so that she can go home to her family in the states.
We also plan to meet with Sarah briefly tomorrow to give her our files and go over a few things. We will meet with her at 12:00 on Monday to prep for our 2:00 court hearing.
The USCIS is requesting some documentation from us by June 20th, part of which are court documents that we will not have without a ruling. We may have to resubmit a form, so we ask for your prayers with this also that they would show us some flexibility.
This whole journey has been full of what feels like roadblocks, but we remain faithful that it is all part of God's plan to bring us home with these girls.
