Hello Family and Friends!
Today was another pretty quiet day. The girls had school today and they enjoyed the afternoon playing. Tomorrow we head out to the craft market again! Godfrey is driving us and Livingstone is coming too. It should be fun. Both of them are very entertaining! :) And, they help us bargain for better prices too.
Tomorrow is Dave's birthday - so Saturday night we are having everyone over to dinner to celebrate. We are going to do our Mexican meal again at his request. For those wondering, he'll be celebrating his first 39th birthday this year. :)
At some requests, I have added a few pictures of Lucky to the album, so check those out! I am not sure I mentioned this before, but we have found a great home for this little kitty once we leave. Godfrey our driver is going to take him. He has a little boy three years old who would love him. We are happy to know where she is going! It is funny here, but many (really most) Ugandan people are not fond of cats. Actually, they are terrified of them! Bats and flying cockroaches are no big deal, but put a little one pound kitten in front of them and they will run the other direction. Godfrey luckily is not afraid of Lucky.
We are booked on a flight to head out Thursday night and will arrive in Chicago Friday afternoon. On Monday at our hearing, we should have a good idea of what Judge OKello's thoughts are on our case and what her schedule looks like to have us back for a ruling. Please pray for her this weekend as well as our attorney Sarah that she will be able to present a compelling case for us.

I just found out about your blog and caught up today. I had to smile several times throughout since I can relate to so many of your experiences. Tons of prayers are coming your way - not only for things to happen quickley but that God's gives both of you the strength to continue on this journey. It is not easy being in a different culture, being away from home, and most of all being away from your son. And doing so for such a long period of time.

Talked to Mandy today and she has been following your blog daily. She is praying for you, too. As you know, she has a particular compassion for the children of Uganda.
Stay strong, enjoy your time with the girls and the wonderful friends you've made there in Kampala. Sara, you will have to one day write a book about this whole experience. And I just might know an editor who could help you with that. :-)
