Hello Family and Friends,
Today was a full day here. We started with going to church. We stopped by Scovia's house to meet her (she has been at her tailor shop the last two days, so we were unable to meet her until now), and then walked with the family to church. We took Fiona and Rachel to their children's church and got to watch them for a while singing. Livingstone had us sit in part of a bible study, and then we went to the worship service. We got some great footage of both the kids church and adult worship. It was really neat to see how other cultures worship. There were many similarties, but yet it was quite different. Fiona came and found us while we were in church and sat with us and eventually fell asleep on me.
After church the girls came home with us and we enjoyed lunch together. They colored in thier color books again and we had fun visiting. Livingstone, Florence and Scovia joined us to talk about this coming week and what needed to happen in court. Mark suggested we all pray together and did it the Ugandan way, which is everyone praying outloud all at the same time. It was quite the interesting experience.
We took the girls back to Scovia's and then Mark took us on a walk through Gaba. While we were filiming our journey through town, we were mobbed by kids who wanted to see their pictures. The kids are so friendly. One little girl about 12-18 months came up to Dave and wanted picked up. He held her and she played with his scruffy face. The kids love Dave.
We came back and had some dinner and we are now getting ready to Skype with Tyler in a little bit.
Sounds like you had a fantastic day! It's wonderful that you're taking some video, it will be neat for Fiona to watch when she gets older. Praying court goes smooth this week!
