Hello all! We are off to Africa! We left yesterday afternoon from Chicago to Brussels and that is where we now sit. We were supposed to catch a connecting flight with a short layover, but our flight got in late and we were rescheduled. Something about volcanic ash! :) We slept a little bit last night, and now tonight will get to sleep in the air once more. We upgraded to business class though, so hopefully will be better able to sleep. We are waiting on a flight that will take us to London and then will take a flight tonight that will take us to Entebee. We will arrive there at 7:45 a.m. and have a 9:00 a.m. meeting with our attorney. It is an hour drive from the airport to his office though, so Mark is going to alert him that we will be late. We will be looking quite lovely as we will have not showered or changed clothes in more than 48 hours. I am already looking a little scary! :) We'll have to clean up before we go and meet Fiona!
That is about it for now, lots of waiting on this end.

So glad to hear that you are on your way, but sorry about the delay! And so the adventure begins! At least you got out of Chicago before the terrible thunderstorms last night! Please tell Mark that we opted for storing his lovely car in the garage and keeping our van on the street while you are away, so it is safe! Looking forward to hearing more about your adventure and can't wait to hear that Fiona is coming home with you!!! Love to you all,

I know you will be landing in about an hour but probably won't read any of this for several hours but know that we are praying that all goes well with your meeting at Peter's this morning and with the whole process in the coming weeks! I can't wait to see what pictures you send, i can't wait to get some of them framed for her room! give both the girls big hugs and kisses from all of us WE LOVE YOU :)
