Day 18

Happy Memorial Day! Dave and I started dating near Memorial Day and one of our first dates was to the Edwardsburg Memorial Day parade 19 years ago. Today was the first one we've missed. :) Heard it was raining there today though.

Today we took the girls to the pediatrician to see if we could get some medical documentation as to why the girls would benefit from being adopted and brought to the US. The doctor was nice and is providing each of us a letter to provide to the court. Most of it will be based on being underweight and nutrition. It should help our case though.

Speaking of, Judge O'Kello has left the country. Things are so unpredictable here, you just never know. On Friday she said she'd be assigning us a court date Monday and today she is gone. Judge O'Guli is the original judge we wanted and even though she is on leave/vacation, she has been coming into work some to finish up some cases. Peter is trying to get her to take our case this week since Judge O'Kello has left the country. It would be very beneficial for us to see Judge O'Guli as we believe she would give us the adoption ruling we are seeking.

Please be in prayer that Judge O'Guli would hear Peter's request and take our case. I believe God is at work and what has happened today is getting us to where we need to be.
