Day 17

Hello Family and Friends,

Happy Sunday! Our day started with church. Dave and I decided to sit in on kids church today, so we listened to the kids sing many songs and listen to a bible story. Then, we went to a Sunday school class with Fiona. Adult church was still in progress, so we finished up listening to the sermon in there.

After lunch, Dave popped in a movie for the girls and they played. I on the other hand, enjoyed a long Sunday nap. We have not slept well the last couple of nights, so I took advantage of the quiet afternoon. Hope we will be able to sleep tonight. These people really know how to party here all night long...and I do mean all night long. Sunday is their favorite night to party too!

Mark and Rachelle took a little trip into the pastry shop for some coffee. Just finished dinner and the girls are starting baths. We get to skype with the family in a little bit - Aunt Becky will get to meet Fiona for the first time!

Tomorrow is the big day! Peter meets with our judge to arrange a court date. Please pray for all involved that this will be scheduled very quickly and that Judge Caroline O'Kello (I had spelled it wrong before) and our attorney Peter will both feel compelled to urgently work on our behalf. We will also soon be working with the US Embassy, so we ask that you keep this in your prayers as well. We are all ready to get this moving and come home with our daughters!

Much love to you all and we miss you as always!

Sara and Dave

Tyler - Hope you had a good day! Can't wait to "see" you soon! Love you! XOXOXO

  3. It was great to "meet" Fiona today. Too bad we didn't have a better connection over the computer, but it was still great :-) Fiona is obviously very attached to you already -- wonderful that she is so affectionate and such a cuddler. We are excited to meet her in person one of these days VERY SOON and to have you all back home! Our prayers are with you for progress tomorrow!!! We trust that plans will move forward this week and anxiously await your updates.

    Love,
    Becky & Andy
