Hello Family and Friends!
Just wanted to let everyone know that we made it home! We were picked up at the airport by my sister, mom and Tyler. It was so good to see them! We drove home and then my dad and sister-in-law joined us for some pizza at our house and we had some fun looking at pictures and going through some gifts we brought home. We slept so good last night in our own bed!
This morning we got to go see Tyler play in his last regular season baseball game. We really missed seeing him play while we were gone!
Today, we are going to enjoy a quiet day at home and look forward to going to church in the morning.
We have a phone call/skype set up to talk to the family in Uganda tomorrow morning before church - we are very excited to talk to them! Leaving was bittersweet and it was so very hard to say goodbye to Fiona. It is goodbye just for now though and hopefully we will be able to go back soon to bring her home.

Welcome home, Sara and Dave. I know you must be so glad to be reunited with Tyler and everyone else. And you must be exhausted from all that you have seen, heard, felt, experienced, survived, etc. When things settle down a bit, I would love to talk. I'm sure you'll keep us all posted with any updates about the progress toward your return to bring Fiona back with you. She is so beautiful, and the pictures you posted make that even more apparent. I know it was hard to leave her, but she is your daughter now -- it's just a matter of time. Let me know if there's anything I can do. Love you all, Aunt Barb
